We're a happily married couple seeking to help others capture their most special day—without fussing over the details.
We fell in love in 2012 and haven’t looked back since. Together we bring you 20+ years of experience in having and creating fun, and YU & US was created as an embodiment of our partnership today. Jane’s love for personalized, bespoke weddings and events, coupled with Jon’s passion for finding and blasting the best tunes, is the winning combination any client would want for their special occasion.
We have planned and DJed many clients’ weddings and events, but it wasn’t after we planned our own wedding in November 2018 that we understood the true stressful reality of planning. Because of this and because we own this business together, we empathize with the strain wedding planning sometimes puts on engaged couples.

Jane yu
Jane has led award-winning activations for brands such as Nike, HBO, Google and Coca-Cola, from intimate dinners for 25 guests to events for 500+ guests.
Planning weddings was originally a side hustle, and she decided to start her own business because she craved more meaningful interaction with clients and space to be creative in a personalized way. She still has love for branded experiences, and welcomes any opportunities that remind her of why she got into the planning business.
Jon Yu
Jon aka JON DOE has been on the decks since 2013. As a Los Angeles native and current New Yorker, Jon has the unique ability to take inspiration from the best of both coasts and expertly blend a selection of sounds that influenced him all his life.
In the past, Jon has partnered with people and brands, such as Converse, Kinfolk, and Nicole Miller, who share his love for creating the best vibes for their parties and events. Always driven, always passionate, and always professional, he is committed to providing excellent service to all his clients, both on and off the dance floor.
